A fan favourite, Chuck Harmison's no.4 jersey hangs in the rafters alongside Hawks greats Gordie McLeod, Mat Campbell & Glen Saville.

Born in Iowa, Chuck came to the Illawarra Hawks as a naturalised Australian. With his trademark headband, Chuck quickly became a fan favourite at the Snakepit.

Chuck would become a stalwart in the Hawks lineup for years, he eventually held the all times game played record for the Hawks at 234, before being passed by Melvin Thomas at 235 in the mid 2000's.

In 2008, Chuck Harmison's no.4 Hawks jersey was retired alongside Gordie McLeod's no.5 Jersey.
