Guard |
He didn’t stay too long, but CJ’s impact was significant at a time when the Hawks started gaining respect as title contenders. He was named the league’s most improved player in ’99 and was the catalyst for several of Wollongong’s 16 wins that season. Bruton was third in the league in scoring (22.1) in 2000 and second in steals (2.2). The multiple Olympian has since become one of the NBL’s all-time great guards, outplaying import after import and winning titles with Sydney and Brisbane. |
